    Description

    Trade ware pottery jarlet from China and Southeast Asia recovered in the Philippines, ca.1930s. This piece is a small, squat jar with typical glazing of Iron oxide over the upper two thirds of the surface save for the rim, with the rest down to the foot, unglazed. . Intact with no chips or crack, brown oxide glaze has worn off over time or due to being buried.  Measures approximately 2 1/4 inches in height and 3 1/4 inches diameter.   With  original note stating discovery and registered with Museum.
